Science center of Michigan Valley Education, a STEM Education Center, registered with Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India congratulates , its two finalists of Google India Code to Learn contest 2016-Avolokita Singh and Uttkarsh Singh.
This is national level competitive test organized by Google India and co-organised by ACME India and Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology , Delhi . Students from classes 5 to 10 were eligible to participate in this contest by submitting their original projects developed in either Scratch (a language developed by Massuchsates institute of technology) or MIT App Inventor. The competition took place on 31-July-2016.
Thousands of children have participated in this nation wide contest in three groups – Group 1 class 5 and 6, Group 2- Class 7 and 8 and Group 3- Class 9 and 10. Ishita and Tanmay of DPS Indirapuram participated in Group 1, who are learning Programming in Discovery Science Center. In group 2, 6 students of our center participated in the contest- Vansh Srivastav and Raghav Singhania of DPS Indirapuram, Suryansh Shukla of Amity, Debanjana Pal of Kothari International, Avlokita Singh of DAV, Shahibabad and Uttkarsh Singh of Sun Valley International School.
Discovery Science Center of Michigan Valley Education is located in Uttaranchal Plaza Sector 3 Vasundhara, is providing STEM education based on NCERT syllabus. The Center has established two years ago with an objective to create Scientific Minds through learning by doing- Science, Mathematics, and Programming for last two years.
Avlokita Singh is a bright young student of 8th standard from DAV public school . She is enrolled in the center for last one year . She is talented in fields like Sports , Oration, Computers other than Academics. Uttakarsh is a bright young student of 7th standard from Sun Valley international school . He is also enrolled since last one year . He is good at academics as well as computers.
